RUNNING-IN

When the machine is new, the inside surface of the pump and
pipes will be smothen and fragments of the ShotMedium will
disengage. An extra change of water and rinse of the machine
after 100 washes is therefore strongly recommended. The
ShotMedium should then also be rinsed with water while they
are collected in the basket.
9.

IMMERSION HEATER

(see picture 20)
If the machine is equipped with an immersion heater, please
note the following:
– The immersion heater is always on as long as the mains-
witch is "ON".
– The knob on top is set by the factory at 40 ⁰C (104 ⁰F).
This value may NOT be increased since the water will be
too hot and lead to risk of burning injuries.
– The heater will automatically be turned off at the start of
ShotMedium collection. The heater will automatically be
turned on again, either after starting a wash cycle, or after
turning the main switch OFF and then ON.

FUNCTIONS ON THE CONTROL PANEL
(See picture 7)
1. LCD-display. Shows the number of wash cycles since the
last water change, plus other messages described below.
2. When pressing this button, the diplay will show the total
number of wash cycles of the machine.
3. A yellow light is flashing when the machine has washed
300 wheels (adjustable) and it is time to change the water
in the machine. After a water change, press the button dur-
ing 3 seconds to set the counting on the display to zero.
4. This button is used for collecting the ShotMedium (see the
chapter "CHANGE OF WATER" below). (The dynamic flush
pipe will then take a given position and the pump will
run during 5 minutes to collect the ShotMedium into the
ShotMediumBasket.)
5. These are start buttons for the wash cycle. Preset duration
of 30, 60, 90 or 120 sec. In all buttons a green light will
be lit when the machine is ready for operation. When you
have started a wash cycle, the button you have pressed will
remain lit and the others will go out. (Normally the machine
starts immediately these buttons are pushed, but if previous
program has been interrupted the dynamic flush pipe (see
picture 6) will move to the starting position first.)
6. Stop and alarm button. A red light is lit when something is
out of order and the display will show an error message. If
you press the button during the wash, the pump motor will

stop and the dynamic flush pipe will move to the starting
position. If the door is opened during the wash cycle, this
red warning signal will light up and the operation will be
interrupted immediately.
7. Bar graph which with rising green bars will indicate how far
the selected wash cycle (or ShotMedium collection) has come.
8. Button that starts a cycle with air blowing only.
9. With this button activated, the machine washes wheels up
to maximum size.
10. With this button activated, the movement of the dynamic
flush pipe is limited, meaning that smaller wheels (up to
c.a. 600mm outside diameter) will be washed with extra
intensity.
11.
CHANGE OF WATER
After washing 300 wheels, you should change the water and
clean the machine. (The basic setting of 300 washing cycles can
be re-programmed as follows: simultaneously press key 2 and
key 120 secs. and set the desired number with key 30 or 60
secs. Then activate with key 120 secs.).
If wou want to move the unit before draining off the water,
please note that the unit may only be lifted with a fork-lift truck
FROM THE FRONT, not from the back or from the side, or else
you risk damaging the bottom tray.
1. First, the ShotMedium should be collected as follows.
Top up with water until the water level reaches the upper
notch of the red level indicator (see picture 14). Place the
ShotMediumBasket in the wash room and close the door.
NOTE! Place the side opening on the ShotMediumBasket
on your left side as picture17 shows.
Press the yellow button with the ShotMediumBasket sym-
bol (nr 4 picture 7) and let the machine run until it stops
automatically (approx 5 min). If needed, run this ShotMe-
dium collecting program 2 times.
As the ShotMedium is collected in the basket, you can eas-
ily check that you have the correct amount of ShotMedium,
by checking that the ShotMedium level reaches the notches
on the front of the basket (see picture 17). If this is not the
case, top up with some more ShotMedium.
2. Remove the service lid and remove the baffle plate (see
picture 15). Empty the dirty water into the drain using the
drain hose (see picture 3). You may leave the water over
the weekend to let the dirt sink to the bottom to avoid that
it will be drained out with the water.
3. Remove the dirt sediment from the bottom of the machine
with a proper shovel and then rinse the machine. Please
note that the dirt should be handled as hazardous waste.
