note that the unit may only be lifted with a fork-lift truck FROM
THE FRONT, not from the back or from the side, or else you risk
damaging the bottom tray.
Place the machine in a horizontal and stable position (it must
not tilt on three legs) and put a piece of rubber carpet or simi-
lar under each leg.
The machine must be connected by a professional electrician.
For size and type of fuse please see chapter 15.
Carefully check that the motors rotate in the direction indicated
by the arrows on the motors (see picture 20). To check this, re-
move the MotorCompartmentCover by removing the two pcs of
bolts with head size10mm (see picture 3), and start a cleaning
cycle. If the motors rotate in the wrong direction, then 2 of the
phases in the power supply must be switched. Note that this
procedure may only be performed by a professional electrician.
Connect compressed air of max 10-14 bar (150- 200 psi). The
connector is placed on the back of the unit (see picture 4).
Make sure that the airfeed line to the machine is large enough
to avoid preasure drop. The air regulator of the machine is pre-
set at 10 bar (150 psi).
Open the door and take out the ShotMedium collecting basket
(see picture 17). Put the basket aside for use later when clean-
ing the machine (see the chapter "CHANGE OF WATER").
Empty the enclosed bag with ShotMedium completely into the
machine.
Please observe that in front of the baffle plate (see picture
15) there should be no ShotMedium (also shown in symbol 5
picture 12).
To the below left in the wash room there is a red water level in-
dicator (see picture 14) with two notches. Fill the machine with
water, so that the ShotMedium level is within the lower notch
(see picture 14) of the indicator. Correct water level is extremely
important (see the chapter "DAILY MAINTENANCE").
Place the enclosed rubber mat in front of the machine, to
prevent slipping if ShotMediumShotMedium is dropped on the
floor when using the machine (see picture 3).
Please note that the unit may only be lifted with a fork-lift truck
FROM THE FRONT, not from the back or from the side, or else
you risk damaging the bottom tray.
During wintertime, if there is a risk of freezing, the machine
must be emptied of water. Otherwise the pump as well as the
bottom tray will be damaged by the expansion when water
becomes ice.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Turn on the red/yellow main switch (see picture3).
2. Open the door (see picture 3) and place the wheel into the
machine, the outside of the wheel to the right as this side

washes most efficiently. Please note that possible decora-
tion covers for example in plastic in the center of the rim
must be removed before washing the wheel (see picture
8). as this may cause operational disturbances if it falls off
during the wash cycle (see the chapter "TROUBLE SHOOT-
ING").
We strongly recommend that also the valve cap is removed
from the wheel before washing (see picture 8) as this may
cause operational disturbances if it falls off during the wash
cycle (see the chapter "TROUBLE SHOOTING").
Wheels with protruding parts on the rim sticking out more
than 13 mm (1/2") beyond the contour of the tyre, are
under no circumstances to be washed in the Wheel Washer
(see picture 9, as well as symbol 4 picture 12). The protrud-
ing parts can be damaged.
If narrow wheels are incorrectly placed in the wash room,
it can be difficult for them to rotate during the wash cycle.
Place the wheel in a way that it stands as straight as pos-
sible to minimize the risk that it will slide during the wash
cycle (see pictures 10 and 11).
A wheel with a puncture that has bees standing for so
long, that it has turned flat at one point and is not round
anymore can not be washed in the machine since it will not
rotate properly.
3. Close the door. Never let go of the door, before it is either
fully closed or fully open.
4. Start the machine (see paragraph 5 in chapter 10).
After cleaning, the wheel will continue to rotate for 10 sec,
and the ShotMedium on the wheel will be blown off by
compressed air. When the wheel has stopped rotating, the
wash cycle is completed, and the wheel can be taken out. It
is possible to run an extra cycle with air blowing only (see
paragraph 8 in chapter 10).
(The basic setting of 10 secs. airblowing can be re-pro-
grammed as follows. See picture 7: Simultaneously press on
key 2 and key 90 secs. and set the desired time with key 30
or 60 secs. Afterwards confirm with key 120 secs.).
The machine is equipped with a safety switch in the motor-
compartment (see pictures 23) that supervises if the door,
where you load the wheel is open or closed. This switch will
prevent the machine from operating if the door is open.
Should you open the door during operation; the washing
will be interrupted immediately. To resume washing, close
the door and press the start button again. The machine
will then restart the program, not continue the interrupted
program.
5. Finally, always check that there are no ShotMedium left on
the rim before it is mounted onto the car.
