3. Lexors MR-6 Receiver (optional)
This small and particularly light weight receiver is intended for use in areas where minimum size and weight
are important. The receiver can also be operated with other transmitters, which work on PPM (FM) mode.
If no BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuitry) system is used and all six outputs are occupied a separate receiver
battery must be connected using a V cable. Output ‚6' on the receiver is marked accordingly.

4.Installing the Power Sources
The transmitter can be operated with 8 AA dry batteries (mignon cells, 1.5 volts) or 8 NC rechargeable batte-
ries of this size. The receiver requires 4 dry or rechargeable batteries.
Installing the batteries in the correct polarity; the battery compartments are marked accordingly.
To open the battery compartment lightly push the cover down where marked. To close the cover push it along
the guide rail in the back wall until you hear it click.
When not used for an extended period, dry batteries must be removed from the radio control transmitter and
the receiver battery compartment. Escaping liquid can damage the transmitter and the compartment.
After installing new batteries check their state of charge. To do this, turn on the transmitter and check the vol-
tage display. Ni-Cd and NiMH batteries must be charged before use. It is essential to always read and follow
the instructions of the battery and charger manufacturer.
5. Charging when using rechargeable batteries
The charging socket on the transmitter side allows comfortable recharging of the batteries without their remo-
val. The charger must be turned off during charging. This also applies to the receiver battery.
The maximum permissible charge current through the transmitter charging socket is 1 A. Always connect
the banana plug to the charger first. The safety diode in the transmitter prevents damage to the batteries for
a short period if the charge leads are accidentally reversed. Nevertheless it is important to ensure that the
charge plugs are polarized correctly.
After the first charge (charge current 1/10 of the battery capacity) of 24 hours, subsequent re-charging of
empty batteries is only necessary for approx. 14 hours. If the battery is completely charged but not used,
recharging after 2 - 3 weeks is recommended since the batteries lose their charge. Loss of charge on Ni-Cd/
NiMH batteries is about 1% per day. Battery life is optimized if the battery is discharged completely from time
to time. Many chargers have this discharge feature.
After an extended storage period, e.g. after a winter break, the batteries should be recharged and discharged
several times before being used. This formatting should re-establish the battery's full capacity.
