11. Switching on the device/standby

 Press the
button to switch on the device. The display lights up.
 Press the
button again to switch the device back into standby mode. The
time will be displayed.
If there is no playback for 15 minutes, the devices automatically switches to stand-
by mode.

12. Setting the time

 Switch the device to standby mode and hold down the CLOCK button until the
hour display flashes.
 Press the  or  buttons to set the hour.
 Confirm with the CLOCK button.
 The minute display flashes. Press the  or  buttons to set the minutes.
 Confirm with the CLOCK button.
The time is displayed in standby mode.

13. Display lighting

In standby mode, the display lighting is activated for 10 seconds if any button (ex-
cluding
) on the device or the remote control is pressed.

14. Audio functions

14.1. Volume/mute

 To adjust the volume, use the /+ buttons on the remote control or
the device.
 Press MUTE to switch off the sound. Press the MUTE button again to cancel the
mute setting.

14.2. Equaliser/bass function

 Press the EQ button once or multiple times to call up the various sound samples
(on the display: FLT), Rock (ROC), Pop (POP), Classic (CLS) and JAZZ (JAZ).
The bass function is activated by default (EQ display
flashes when switched on for the first time). The EQ dis-
play disappears if the bass function is deactivated and
EQ setting
 Press and hold the EQ button to deactivate the bass function. OFF appears on
the display.
 Press and hold the button again to activate the bass function. BASS will appear
on the display.
