Connecting the coolant
NOTE
• Only pure inert gases or their mixtures may be used as the plasma gas.
2 Connect the plasma and shielding gases correctly.
3 Connect pilot power plug to power source.
NOTE
• Make sure that the coolant supply and return have been installed
properly. Coolant supply = blue, coolant return = red.
• Do not use deionized or demineralised water as coolant or for tightness
and flow tests.
• For liquid-cooled welding torches, we recommend using the
ABICOR BINZEL coolant BTC-15.

Charge the entire cooling system as follows when used for the first time and
after every cable assembly change:
1 Disconnect the coolant return hose (1) from the re-circulating
cooling unit (2) and hold it over a collecting device.
2 Close the opening at the coolant return hose (1) and open it again by
repeatedly and abruptly releasing it, until the coolant is flowing
continuously and without air bubbles into the collecting device.
3 Switch off the re-circulating cooling unit (2) and reconnect the coolant
return hose (1) .
