Lifting and Power-assist Mode
Lifting
Life the Ninebot S from the ground when it is powered on. The Ninebot S will automatically cut off power output, ensuring
your safety. The power will be automatically restored once it is placed back onto the ground. Do not lift the Ninebot S by
the fenders or the main body. Otherwise, the Ninebot S will not detect that it has been lifted, keeping the tires running
freely. You will risk serious injury through clothing or fingers becoming trapped between the tire and the fenders. As shown
above.
Power-assist
Mode
When it is powered on but no one is riding, the Ninebot S will automatically enter power assisted mode. This mode assists
you in easily pushing the Ninebot S across smooth surfaces. When you encounter any steps, lift the Ninebot S up instead of
pushing it. As shown above.

General Care and Maintenance
Cleaning and storing your Ninebot S
Wipe the surface of Ninebot S body with a soft cloth dipped in a little water when dirty. For stubborn stains, use a toothbrush
and toothpaste and then use a damp cloth. Scratches on plastic parts can be polished with sandpaper or another abrasive.
Note:
do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene or other corrosive/volatile chemical solvents for cleaning as these substances
will seriously damage the appearance and internal structure of the vehicle.Do not use a pressurized water gun jet. Ensure
that the Ninebot S is powered off, the charge cable is unplugged and the plastic cover on the charging port is tightly sealed,
otherwise you may expose yourself to electric shock or damage the vehicle through water entering the internal workings.
When not in use, store the Ninebot S in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it outdoors for extended periods of time. Exposure to
excessive sunlight and outdoor temperature extremes (hot and cold) can hasten aging in the appearance and tire of the
Ninebot S and reduce the operating life of both the Ninebot S and its battery pack.
Battery maintenance for the Ninebot S
Do not leave the vehicle in the rain or ride it for extended periods of time in the rain. The Ninebot S has an IP rating of IP54
but cannot withstand complete submersion in water. Avoid completely immersing the Ninebot S in water. Submersion in fluid
will completely destroy the functionality of the Ninebot S. If water enters the lithium battery there is a risk of fire. If this is the
case, stop using immediately and contact the official after-sales service department. The user bears all responsibility for
damages and all forms of loss caused by water entering the product.
Do not place the battery in an environment where the ambient temperature is higher than 50°C or lower than -20°C
not store the Ninebot S or its battery pack in a car exposed to summer
not charge the battery anywhere lower than 0°C or higher than 40°C otherwise the battery may not work properly or may
overheat, and may even catch fire. For other maintenance precautions regarding the battery, refer to the battery pack plate
under the vehicle body.
Avoid completely draining the battery. Using when charged will considerably extend the operating life of the battery.
Additionally, the battery pack has a long battery life and good performance when used at ambient temperature. If the outside
temperature is lower than 0°C, battery life and performance will be reduced.
Typically, at temperature of -10°C the mileage of range will be half or even lower than that at room temperature. Once the
temperature has risen, the battery capacity for supporting the mileage of range will be restored. Refer to the remaining
mileage in the App.
Note:
A fully charged Ninebot S can be on standby for approximately 120 - 180 days before requiring charging. A Ninebot S
that has not been fully charged will need charging after 30 - 60 days on standby. If not recharging shortly, there is a strong
possibility that the battery will be over discharged and damaged. This damage is irreparable. A smart chip in the battery
records the charge/discharge level of the battery. Damage caused by not charging for a long period of time makes charging
impossible and will not be covered by the Warranty.
(Caution: Non-specialized personnel should not attempt to disassemble the battery pack due to the risk of electric shock or
short circuit causing a serious accident.)
Recommended tire pressure
Recommended tire pressure: 45-50 Psi (or 310-345 kPa)
Low tire pressure will seriously affect the mileage the Ninebot S can do before needing to be recharged. Always check the tire
pressure before setting off and if the tire pressure is too low, pump up the tire before you ride.
(e.g. Do
sun). Do not throw the battery pack into a fire and do
