This product must be installed professionally and in accordance with
the prescribed assembly guidelines. It must only be assembled by qua‑
lified and trained experts.
Intended use

Communication modules are for transmitting the consumpti‑
on data of compatible measuring devices. Depending on their
design, they can be used universally or only with a measuring device
of a specific maker. Communication modules must be used exclusively
for this purpose.
Improper use
Any use other than the use described previously and any changes
made to the device constitute improper use. Uses and changes must
be queried in writing beforehand and are subject to special approval.
Warranty and guarantee
Warranty and guarantee claims are only valid if the parts in question
have been used in accordance with their intended use and if the tech‑
nical requirements and any applicable technical regulations have been
observed.
Safety notes
Observe the technical requirements for the electrical connection and
applicable national regulations.
Safety notes for lithium batteries
The add‑on radio module contains a permanently installed lithium me‑
tal primary battery. The battery contains small amounts of lithium and
organic electrolytes. A single device does not represent a hazard in the
sense of UN3090 or 3091.

In the event of total destruction of the device with electrolyte escaping,
eye and skin contact with the electrolyte must be avoided, any vapours
must not be inhaled, fresh air must be provided.
The device must not be opened and the battery must not be replaced.
