Parameterisation of the add‑on radio module
Before operation with a radio‑ready water meter, the add‑on
radio module must be parameterised with the meter

parameters of the mechanical water meter. The following
is required for this:
• Software Q suite 5 module, installed on a Notebook
• the IrDA programming and readout head as parameterising
cable
When commissioning, the add‑on radio module must be pro‑
grammed via software Q suite 5 module with meter number,
meter count, medium (hot or cold water) of the corresponding
mechanical meter as well as the required due date for billing.
Registration in the radio network
Before activation of the add‑on module, the Q AMR network must
be set to installation mode.
The radio transmitter of the water meter add‑on module is activa‑
ted via programming stick WFZ.PS. They can also be activated
via a notebook and the software Q suite 5 module.
After activation of the radio transmitter, the add‑on radio module
RWM5 MO transmit walk‑by and OMS telegrams parallel for a
control readout in a Q walk‑by system or for registration in the
Q AMR network.
