Chromium bezels impair optimum radio reception. It is
recommended replacing existing chromium bezels with
„radio bezels". In this special bezel design, the shiel‑
en
ding effect for radio waves is minimized.
A distance between pumps and the module less than
50 cm can influence the counting behaviour of the
add‑on radio module.
The wireless attachment module may only be fitted on
wireless‑enabled water meters with round slots (1) above
the sliding reader (inductive reading)!
Assembly on water meters with square (2) slots is not
permitted!
The module must be configured before fitting onto the meter.
Between the add‑on radio module and other electronic
devices the minimum distance of 5 cm is to be kept.
The radio adaptor is to be protected against extreme
humidity and heat. Penetrating humidity and extreme heat
can damage the device.
The use of solvents around the radio adaptor should be
avoided.
Use of a torque screwdriver with a torque of 0.35 nm is
recommended.
