Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and instruct other persons using it,
too, when necessary. Keep booklet handy for further use.

Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
This device is to be used solely for personal use for shaving (beards) or trimming the sideburns
following the procedures indicated in this instruction booklet.
Do not use the appliance under the shower or near containers full of liquid, to prevent it from
falling in. If the appliance should get wet, even if it is only the electric cable, please follow these
instructions:
- don't dip your hands in the water, but first remove the plug from the power
socket
- dry the device carefully, before turning it on again
- if in doubt, have it checked by professionally qualified personnel.
Never touch the device with wet hands or feet.
Should any of the blades appear to be faulty, do not use the device, but have it checked by
professionally qualified personnel.
Never insert objects or sheets of paper between the blades.
Never use accessories other than those provided: it can be dangerous for the user and damage the
device.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The appliance must be kept out of children's reach.
Attention: when using electric appliances, the basic safety precautions must always be observed to
avoid risks of fire, electric shocks and physical injury.
Unplug the appliance when not in use or even if you put it down only for a moment.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Do not use the clippers on wet hair, as it is designed for cutting dry hair.
Do not leave the device exposed to atmospheric agents (sun, rain, etc.).
Do not use the device or store it near heat sources.
Do not pull the power cable or the device to remove the plug from the power socket.
Do not pull the cable to move the device.
If the electric cord is damaged, it has to be replaced by the supplier or an authorized service center
or a professionally qualified, to avoid any risks.
Attention: do not cover the appliance when it is operating to avoid the risk of fires.
INSTALLATION
After removing the packing materials, check the integrity of the appliance; if you are unsure, do not
use it and ask for qualified professional help. The packing materials (plastic bags, polystyrene
foam, nails, etc.) must be kept out the reach of children because they are potential sources of
danger; they must be disposed of in accordance with current law.
Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage values shown on the data plate correspond
to those of the electricity supply network. In the event of incompatibility between the socket and
the appliance's plug, have the socket replaced with another suitable type by professionally qualified
