If you want to let the water cool down, press the keep-warm button (3). The
appliance will switch off.

CAUTION: The outside of the kettle gets very hot. Only use the handle to pick up
the kettle.
 DESCALING
o
The kettle should be descaled on a regular basis depending on how hard the water
supply is. To do this use standard, environmentally friendly descaling products. First
fill it with water and then a small dose of the descaling product. Never heat up the
solution, otherwise it will foam over. After descaling rinse the kettle out thoroughly
with clean water.
 CLEANING AND CARE

Pull out the plug before cleaning. Never immerse the kettle and its base in water.
Rinse the kettle out from time to time. Only wipe the outside of the kettle with a
damp cloth. Do not use any sharp and abrasive cleaning agents.
 DISPOSAL
o
For proper disposal, the unit is to return to the dealer, the service agent or the
company Rotel AG.
