To Steam Iron
1. Unplug iron. Using a cup, slowly
pour 4 ounces (1/2 cup) of tap
water into the water tank opening
as illustrated.
2. Plug in iron.
3. Turn the Temperature Control
Dial to the desired setting in the
steam range. With the iron in an
upright position, allow 3 minutes
for the iron to reach desired
temperature. Do not preheat the iron with the soleplate
facing down.
4. Set the Adjustable Steam Dial to desired steam output.
5. To turn iron off, turn Adjustable Steam Dial to Dry Iron.
Turn Temperature Control Dial to OFF.
6. Empty water from the iron following directions in
"Caring for Your Iron and Soleplate."
Water
Please use ordinary tap water. If you have extremely hard
water, alternate between tap water and distilled water for
use in the iron.
