5.5 Electrical connection

Check the nominal voltage of the device prior
to connecting to the mains. The voltage
given on the type plate must correspond to
the local mains voltage.
• Plug the mains cable (22) into the cold-device
connector (4).
• Plug in mains cable.
5.6 Connection to extraction unit
• Fit the extraction hose of the extraction unit to the
extraction pipe (18).
• In the case of extraction units with automatic
activation:
insert mains plug of the sandblasting device into
the user socket of the extraction unit.

5.7 Setting the operating pressure
• Activate foot switch.
• Set the blasting pressure (1 to 6 bar / 14.5 to
87 psi) on the pressure controller (7), display on
the pressure gauge (8).
The pressure setting applies to both blasting tanks.
5.8 Filling the blasting tanks
Attention: Never activate the foot switch during
the filling process!
Despite this displayed pressure, the blasting
i
tanks are only under pressure when opened if
the foot switch is activated.
• Only fill blasting agent up to the maximum filling
height (bulge of the tank jacket below the thread).
• Close tank cover.
Prior to closing the tank, it is essential to clean
the threads from blasting agent residues on
cover and tank.
Caution: do not cant the tank cover during
screwing.
Only use clean and dry blasting agent of the
appropriate graining.
