Replacing the Sanding Sheet
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
Selecting the Sanding Sheet
Depending on the material be worked and the re-
quired rate of material removal, different sanding
sheets are available:
for the working of all wooden materials.
for the working of paint/enamel coats or primers
and fillers.
Usage of Fleece and
Polishing Cloth Pad
The usage of fleece/polishing cloth pads enables
reworking and polishing of metal and stone in
particular.
Depending on the required quality of finish, differ-
ent types of fleece and polishing cloth pads are to
be used.
Attaching a Sanding Sheet

The sanding plate is fitted with Velcro backing.
This allows for quick and simple fastening of
sanding sheets with Velcro adhesion.
Before placing on the sanding sheet, free the Vel-
cro backing of the sanding plate from dust /debris
by lightly tapping against it.
The machine is equipped with 2 sanding sheets
that can be changed individually depending on
the condition of wear.
Only use the machine when both sanding
sheets are attached. Only use sanding sheets
with the same grain size.
Position the sanding sheet flush on one side of
the sanding plate; attach the sanding sheet and
press against the sanding plate with a light turn-
ing motion in clockwise direction.
The sanding sheets of the Bosch delta sander
can be used.
Sanding accessories such as fleeces /polishing
pads are fastened to the sanding plate in the
same manner.
Removing a Sanding Sheet
Grasp the sanding sheet at one of the tips and
pull off.

Replacing the Sanding Plate
(see figure
Push the SDS slider 4 in clockwise direction to
the stop ( ) and remove the sanding plate 3.
To fasten the sanding plate 3, press it against the
fixture ( ) and lock it with the SDS slider ( ).
If, e. g., the front tip of the sanding sheet is worn,
the complete sanding plate can also be removed,
turned by 120°, and then attached again.
Initial Operation
Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of
the power source must agree with the voltage
specified on the nameplate of the machine.
Equipment marked with 230 V can also be con-
nected to 220 V.
Switching On and Off
To start the machine, tilt the On/Off switch 5 to
the right.
To switch off the machine, tilt the On/Off
switch 5 to the left.
Usage of Accessories
Attachment and removal of all sanding accesso-
ries is carried out in the same manner as when
replacing the sanding plate.
Detail-sanding Attachment

Using the detail-sanding attachment 11 enables
the sanding of hard to reach areas, such as win-
dow sills or thin lamellar plates of cabinets and
doors.
Sanding Tongue, Flat (see figure
The flat sanding tongue 14 is used, e. g., for
sanding of narrow slots and in tight spaces.
Additionally, it can also be fitted on the top side
with a Velcro backing 13 for attaching sanding
sheets 12.
Sanding Tongue, Oval (see figure
The oval sanding tongue 15 is already equipped
with Velcro backing on both sides, which also al-
lows for double-sided fitting of sanding sheets 12.
This is especially convenient for sanding curves
and hollow spaces or arched surfaces as can be
found on furniture, banisters or radiators.
