Correction factor (FAcT.)
For frequency function:
To display the frequency in Hz, the following settings must be
made:
dEc.F = 0
FAcT. = 60
For flow rate measurements, the frequency is converted as
follows:
Display (= Flow rate) = (f ∗ 60) / FAcT. [l/min]
At the same time the following function is stored in the HDA
5500:
fmax = FAcT. ∗ Hir.2 / 60 [Hz]
where
FAcT. = correction factor of the sensor [pulses/l]
Hir.2 = Qmax
Qmax = maximum flow rate of the sensor [l/min]
For counter function:
To display the counter status, the following settings must be
made:
dEc.F = 0
FAcT. = 1
Example: Measurement of a volume using a gear flow meter on
a dosing system
Settings:
dEc.F: 0.0
Hir.2: 500.0
FAcT.: Correction factor as given for gear flow meter,
e.g. 12.5
Calibration of the sensor zero point (CALi.)
The function is useful for example, if the output signal always
has an offset which should be displayed as the zero point.
Allocation of analogue output to sensor (ouT.S)
Output signal (ouT.M)
The actual measurement is saved as the new zero
point. This is possible in the range +/- 2.5 % of the
display range.
is displayed if a calibration has been
carried out in the permitted range.
is displayed if a calibration has not
been possible.
Actual measured value is not to be saved.
Analogue output allocated to sensor 1
Analogue output allocated to Pt100 sensor
4..20 mA output signal
0..10 V output signal
