Position the device such that you always have access to the
power plug. The power cord connected to the appliance
must be properly grounded and correspond to the technical
details on the product label.
3.2.2. BEFORE FIRST USE
Fill the tank with cold water to the desired level. Place the
portafilter in the brew head aligning the handle with the
INSERT caption. Then turn it until you feel resistance and
the handle is aligned with the LOCK caption. Place the glass/
container on the tray. Connect the device to the power
supply (the steam knob should be in the OFF position).
Turn the device on using the ON / OFF button. The heating
process will start. After it is finished, the device will go into
standby mode. Press the HOT-WATER button. After a small
amount of water flows out, press the button again to stop.
Repeat for the SINGLE
and DOUBLE
buttons.
3.3. DEVICE USE
STARTING
1.
Fill the tank with cold water not exceeding the
maximum level.
2.
Check that the steam knob is in the OFF position.
Connect the device to the power supply.
3.
Turn the device on with the ON / OFF button. The
device will go into preheating mode, the button
backlight will start to flash. The device takes about 50
seconds to warm up.
4.
After preheating, the device goes into standby mode,
all buttons on the control panel light up.
ADJUSTING THE GRINDING DEGREE
In order to grind coffee beans, set the appropriate value on
the grinder knob (the smaller the value, the finer the ground
beans are).
NOTE: The recommended grinding degree is 8-10.
GRINDING COFFEE
Insert the portafilter with the strainer (for 1 or 2 coffees) into
the grinder mount and lightly press it to the front until the
required amount of ground coffee is obtained.
NOTE: The grinder should not run longer than a minute at
a time.
COMPACTING COFFEE
Carefully tap the portafilter against the worktop so that the
ground coffee settles evenly on the strainer. Use the tamper
to evenly compact the ground coffee.
INSERTING THE PORTAFILTER INTO THE BREW HEAD
Place the portafilter in the brew head so that the handle is
aligned with the INSERT caption. Then turn it until you feel
resistance and the handle is aligned with the LOCK caption
(shown in the picture below).

PREPARING HOT WATER
When the device is in standby mode, press the HOT WATER
button, the button backlight will start flashing and hot water
will flow from the nozzle (approx. 200 ml). The water flow will
be stopped automatically and the machine will return to the
standby mode. To stop the hot water flow at any time, press
the HOT WATER button again.
NOTE: The steam knob must be in the OFF position.
BREWING COFFEE
Attach the strainer (for 1 or 2 coffees depending on the
desired quantity) in the portafilter. Fill the strainer of the
portafilter with ground coffee (approx. 13-15 g for one
coffee, 20-22 g for two coffees) and compact the coffee.
Then place the portafilter in the brew head and press the
SINGLE
or DOUBLE
button.
PRODUCING STEAM FOR FROTHING MILK
Turn the steam knob from OFF to PRE-HEAT, the appliance
starts heating the water to produce steam. The knob
backlight flashes. When preheating is reached (the knob
backlight stops flashing), turn the steam knob from PRE-
HEAT to MAX. The appliance will deliver steam. The steam
knob backlight flashes during steam production. To
deactivate the steam function, turn the knob from the MAX
position to the PRE-HEAT position (the steam production
process will stop). Turn the steam knob from PRE-HEAT to
OFF to put the device into standby mode.
NOTE: after steam is produced (approx. 10 minutes), the
device needs a minute to rest to prevent overheating.
Warning! As it cools down, the machine will release some
steam through the opening in the drip tray. Be careful!
PROGRAMMING
The device has the ability to adjust the amount of water
supplied for one (SINGLE) and two (DOUBLE) coffees, which
is:
•
20-60 ml,
•
60-100 ml.
To adjust the amount of water delivered for one (SINGLE)
and two (DOUBLE) coffees, press and hold the SINGLE
and DOUBLE
buttons (the SINGLE
button backlight
will start to flash and the DOUBLE
button backlight
will be on). Then press the SINGLE
button. When the
correct amount of liquid comes out of the machine, press
the SINGLE
button again. The device will remember the
settings. Set the amount of coffee for a double coffee in the
same way (select DOUBLE
instead of SINGLE
)

Note: To return to the factory settings, press and hold the
SINGLE
or DOUBLE
button for about 5 seconds (the
button backlight will flash twice and go out).
SLEEP MODE
The device goes into sleep mode after 30 minutes of
inactivity. Only the ON / OFF button stays illuminated.
Pressing any button returns the device to preheating mode.
If the pressure gauge shows 0-5 bar pressure, the pressure is
not enough to brew the coffee. Belongs:
1.
Check that the coffee beans are fresh.
2.
Use more force to tamp the ground coffee with the
pad, then try again.
3.
Select a lower value on the grinder knob to provide a
finer grinding of the coffee beans, then try again.
If the pressure gauge shows a pressure between 12-20 bar,
the pressure is too high. Belongs:
1.
Check that the filter is not clogged.
2.
Reduce the tamping force of the ground coffee with
the pad, then try again.

3.
Select a higher value on the grinder knob to make the
coffee beans coarser, then try again.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Unplug the mains plug and allow the device to cool
completely before each cleaning, adjustment or
replacement of accessories, or if the device is not
being used.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c)
Use only mild, food-safe detergents to wash the
device.
d)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
e)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
f)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
g)
Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
h)
Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
i)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
j)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
k)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning
(e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.
l)
The nozzle should be cleaned immediately after the
milk is frothed.
m)
Do not clean the device or its components in
a dishwasher.
n)
It is recommended to perform the descaling treatment
after approx. 1000 work cycles (the backlight of the
device buttons will flash red twice).
DESCALING
1.
Prepare the solution of descaling agent and water
(approx. 1 liter) according to the manufacturer's
instructions for the descaling agent and fill the tank
with it.
2.
Turn on the device and wait for it to warm up.
3.
Place a water container (approx. 2 l) under the nozzle
and coffee outlet.
4.
Press and hold the HOT WATER button for 5 seconds,
then turn the steam knob to the MAX position.
5.
The descaling process takes approx. 10-15 minutes.
6.
When the solution is completely drained, the device
will automatically turn off.
