Screw tightening:
All mounting screws must be tightened to the torques
shown in the table below.

Fixing the steady rest:
1.
Unscrew the 2 M4 screws (2) of the counter-spindle
and remove the original cover (1).
2.
Position the steady rest (3) with the groove (4) against
the bottom.
3.
Screw in the 2 supplied M4 screws (5) up to the
surface, then loosen ¼ turn.

Adjust the concentricity of the steady rest using the 3
M2.5 screws (6).
5.
Tighten the 2 M4 screws (5) to the torque specified in
the table.
Use :
1.
To pick up the workpiece, the distance between the
counter-spindle and the main spindle is at minimum 67
mm.
2.
During machining, the body of the cutter head rests on
the steady rest and retracts it to machine the
workpiece.
Note
:
1.
The cutting insert (7) must not protrude more than
1 mm (9) from the body of the cutter holder (8).
2.
Prefer an inverted cutter (7) to direct the chips
downwards.
3.
Never exceed the travel limit (10) of the steady
rest, as this may cause damage to the steady rest
and the machine axes!
