Solution

in a room with an ambient
temperature between 10 °C
and 40 °C (50 °F and 104 °F)
for at least 30 minutes.
Replace the batteries and
try again. If the fault occurs
again, contact Customer
Services.
The protective cap must be
removed to measure object
temperatures.
Ensure that the device and
the protective cap are fully
functioning. Perform the
measurement again.

Solution
Ensure that the device and
the protective cap are fully
functioning. Perform the
measurement again.
Remove the two empty
batteries and insert two
new 1.5 V AAA batteries in-
to the ear thermometer.
