Bed knife adjustment assembly Removal
Remove two button head cap screws and disc springs (items 10 and 15) from lower clea-
rance hole of adjustment pad (item 7).
Rotate two adjustment screws (item 8) counterclockwise using 19 mm (3/4'') hex wrench
or similar. Disassemble these screws from both the adjustment pads and the adjustment
blocks (item 6).
Rotor knife Removal
Temporarily lock rotor (item 3) by placing a wooden 50 x 50 mm (2 x 2 in) or similar
through one of the rotor openings, spanning the face of cutter/granulator base (FIG.2).
Remove four button head cap screws and disc springs (items 12 and 16) with 4.0 mm
(5/32'') hex key and remove rotor knife (item 11). Carefully rotate rotor and repeat proce-
dure for a second rotor knife.
At this time the bed knife and both rotor knives have been removed and are available for
sharpening.

Resharpening (grinding) of knives requires the following equipment and fixtures:
- surface or Blanchard grinder
- bed knife fixture # 121 116 251 or angled vise
- rotor knife fixture # 121 116 252
- cylindrical grinder
- assembled cutter (less knives) or spare rotor
