13.3 Operation

13.3.1 Low temperature mode

Temperature can be adjusted in the range from 80°C-155°C (175°F-310°F).
 To activate the low temperature mode, press the following key combination
approx. 3 sec. Press the same key combination for approx. 3 sec. to return to the original
mode.
 The current temperature display starts to light up in 3-second intervals.
 As soon as the target temperature is reached, the indicator lamp 120°C (250°F)
up.
 Now switch on the feeding roller motor.
 In case the feeding roller motor cannot be switched on (Er2 on the display), increase the
temperature, wait until the glue granule has liquefied and switch on the feeding roller
motor again.
 Before you start packing the machine, please make sure that the
control lamp lights up and that the adhesive has cooled down and is firm.

13.3.2 Height adjustment of the guiding plate

 Measure the height of the workpiece.
 Loosen the locking lever and adjust the distance between
supporting plate and edge bander by using the scale.
 Tighten the lock lever.
