GENERAL INFORMATION

Proper installation of this dock shelter is an essential condi-
tion for ensuring the high user safety properties of the prod-
uct. The recommended execution order and description of
a unit process for the dock shelter installation are given in
the instruction manual. All the existing rules and regulations
that apply to the installation of the dock shelter should be

strictly observed.
The contents of this instruction manual cannot be used as
the the basis for legal claims. The ALUTECH Group of Compa-
nies reserves the right to make changes and additions in the

construction of the dock shelter and this instruction manual.

Only qualified personnel should carry out installation of the
dock shelter. They should know the construction and instal-
lation process of the dock shelter, and undergo training to be
instructed on the safety system. When performing installation
work it must strictly comply with the applicable national rules

and regulations concerning the safety of operations.

Changes in the construction of the dock shelter are not
allowed.

Do not remove or change details, components, functional
parts. Use only the manufacturer's original elements.
•
Do not place any extraneous items on the dock shelter.
Additional elements may cause improper operation of the
product and may lead to its malfunction.

Use only original manufacturer`s fasteners.

For the implementation of technically correct and safe
installation, it is necessary to carefully perform all the
operations in the order indicated in the illustrations.

REQUIREMENTS FOR FASTENERS

When mounting the dock shelter various fasteners can be
used, the choice of which depends on the material capabi lity
of the opening (they are not included in the kit).
For fixing to walls, made of concrete, solid brick, expanded-
clay concrete, natural stone and other similar materials:
•
nylon plastic plugs Ø 10 mm 60–80 mm long, complete
with external screw Ø 8 mm;
•
steel wedge anchors Ø 10 mm 40–60 mm long;
•
steel drive anchors Ø 10 mm to 40 mm with internal
thread, complete with external screw with metric
thread M8.
For fixing to aerated concrete or cellular concrete, wooden
beams, sandwich panels, steel profiles (they are not included
in the kit):
•
bolts with metric thread M8.
All fasteners must be resistant to corrosion. To ensure reliable
clamping of the frame dock to building constructions steel
flat washers should be installed under screw heads, bolts and
screw-nuts.

Attention! The surface for mounting of the dock
opening should be aligned and should be in a strictly
vertical plane. In the presence of the visor the minimum
distance to the top covering of dock shelter must be at
least 200 mm.
DELIVERY OF INSTALLED PRODUCTS
4.
The handover of installed products to the Customer must be
performed by a representative of the Organization who car-
ried out the installation of the product, in the following order:
•
making an operational demonstration;
•
holding a briefing on use;
•
completing (filling-in) the product passport.
