USER MANUAL
Thank you for choosing the Petromax Percolator.
The Petromax Tea and Coffee Percolator allows
you to brew your preferred coffee or favourite
tea while preserving their natural flavour. We are
convinced that you will be delighted with your
Petromax Percolator and we hope that every
beverage will be a special pleasure.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Before using the Perkomax for the first time,
read the following information carefully.
Follow the safety instructions and store this
user manual. Keep this document for future
reference.
FIRST USE AND CLEANING
After each use and before the first use, wash the
Percolator and all its parts thoroughly in clean
water with a mild detergent. Dry everything
thoroughly inside and outside with a clean and
dry cloth.

PREPARATION

Only use coarsely ground coffee or coarse, loose
tea to ensure the efficiency of the percolation
process.
Please note the minimum filling level of your
Percolator.

1. Add the desired amount of drinking water.
Please note the minimum and maximum
filling level. Caution! The water must not
come into contact with the basket.
2. Fill the basket with the desired amount of
coarsely ground coffee or tea. Close the lid.
The lid's nose should be on the same side as
the handle. (Percolator black & white)

3. Place the Percolator onto a flat heating
surface or place/hang it over the campfire.
Boil the water.
4. Optimal period of boiling: approx. 12-15
minutes

SAFETY NOTES

Only fill the Percolator with water. Please note
that the Percolator and all its parts become
very hot during use. Only use it with a cloth or
heat-resistant gloves. Caution! Children and
animals should never be allowed near the Perco-
lator.
MODELS
The Percolator is suitable for camping, outdoor
and garden activities or on the home stove.
Caution! The Stainless Steel Perco-
lator is not suitable for induction
stove and ceramic hob.

Petromax offers the Percolator made of stainless
steel in two different sizes. Thus, you can choose
the one that suits your needs best. The sturdy
handle makes it easy to hang. Thanks to a glass
knob in the lid you can watch your beverage boil.
The glass knob is also available as a spare part.
PETROMAX PERKOMAX BLACK & WHITE
The enamel Perkomax is available in black and
white. Thanks to the sturdy enamel the percola-
tor is suitable for outdoor use as well as on all
types of stoves. The tilt protection (lid's nose)
provides for safe pouring.
