HANDLING
WILL IT STAY ON ? (FIG. 1)
You want to know If the helmet you bought will
stay firmly on your head in a crash. Make sure the
chinstrap is done up and tilt your head forward. Ask
someone to try and roll the helmet off your head by
carefully pushing up from the rear of the helmet at
its base. If you can roll it off in the showroom, then it's
sure to come off in a crash.
ADJUSTING AND USING
THE MICROMETRIC BUCKLE (FIG. 2)
1. First, adjust the length of the strap by rolling it
through the adjuster ring (A)
2. To close the buckle, insert the ratcheted tongue
(B) into the casing (C). When you hear a "click",
the buckle is closed. The multi-notching allows
for minute adjustments in order to obtain perfect
comfort and fit with the buckle
3. If necessary, go back and repeat Step 1
4. To open the buckle, pull on the red strap (D) and
draw back the ratcheted tongue using your other
hand
HOW TO CHANGE AND REPLACE THE MAIN VISOR
To change the Visor (fig. 3):
• The visor must be in the open position (E)
• Using an appropriated coin or key, unscrew
anticlockwise (F)
PLEASE NOTE: remove and keep aside carefully the
main visor's screw (G) and the thumb wheel of the
internal sun visor (H)
• Separate the visor in order to release it from its
housing located on the shell, do it on both sides (I)
To replace the Visor (fig. 4):
• Hold the visor in the opened position
• Place the visor correctly over the visor holders (J)
• Fit the thumb wheel (K) and the screw into
their housing located on the shell and re-screw
clockwise (L)
• Check that the whole mechanism works properly
HOW TO USE
THE INTERNAL SUN VISOR ON YOUR HELMET
• The thumb wheel control for the internal sun
visor is located on the left and right hand sides
of the helmet. Only use this button when you are
stationary
• To lower the internal sun visor, turn the thumb
wheel control forward until it stops (M)
• To raise the internal sun visor, turn the thumb wheel
control backward until it stops
Warning: never drive with the internal sun visor in the
lowered position at night or in case of poor visibility.
Always remember to raise the internal sun visor early
enough before entering a tunnel or on a dark or
shady road.
HOW TO CHANGE THE INTERNAL SUN VISOR
ON YOUR HELMET (FIG.5)
• The main visor must be in the open position
• The internal sun visor must be in the lowered
position (M)
• Hold the internal sun visor between 2 fingers on
each end of the visor (N) and pull it gently forward
until the 2 clips situated on the internal sun
visor detach from the 2 lugs situated inside the
mechanism (O)
To replace the visor:
• Hold the main visor in the open position
• The thumb wheel must be in the backward
position until it stops (P)

• Slide the visor back as far as it will go, until you
hear a double click (on each side), indicating it is
clipped correctly on the lugs (Q-R)
• Ensure the mechanism is working properly by
moving the thumb wheel control from the front to
the back and from the back to the front
HOW TO REMOVE AND PUT CHEEK PADS
BACK ON YOUR HELMET (FIG.6)
• Take the front part of the cheek pad with your
fingers and, moving from top to bottom, pull it
lightly toward the inside of the helmet (S)
• Gently detach the pad from its housing in the
polystyrene by making small motions in order not
to break it (T)
To put the pad back on:
• Insert the slim part of the pad in its housing
between and under the shell (U)
• While exerting pressure with slight motions from top
to bottom, place the pad in its original housing (V)
HOW TO REMOVE AND PUT THE HEAD PAD
BACK ON YOUR HELMET (FIG.7)
• First, remove the sun visor (see previous procedure)
• The head pad is maintained in position on the
front by the strip inserted in 3 clips
• Pull lightly on the left or right hand side of the front
part, toward the interior with regard to the edge of
the helmet. Raise one of 3 clips and pull gently
(1). Repeat the operation for the 2 other clips and
by doing so you are detaching the front fixing strip
(2)
• Next, pull lightly on the rear part of the head pad.
You are now detaching the rear fixing strip (3-4)
• Remove the entire pad from the helmet
To put the head pad back on (fig.8):
• Insert and fix the rear strip first between the nape
and the edge of the polystyrene (5-6)
• Insert the front strip making sure that it is set
properly between the 3 fixing clips (7)
• The head pad sets itself easily on its own
