3. Description
The IZAR CENTER sends a request to the meters con-
nected to the M-Bus. This action can be performed man-
ually by the user or automatically by the IZAR CENTER.
For the automatic meter reading a IZAR CENTER with
memory is required, where a general or meter individ-
ual reading interval is programmed. The meter responds
to this request by sending the current values to the
IZAR CENTER.
The meter data are stored in an internal memory and
from there they can be transmitted automatically to a
reading software (IZAR@NET Software).
