Maintenance
The BK 35 requires no special maintenance. However, if used in new
installations which have not been rinsed it may be necessary to clean
the trap.
1. Observe danger note on page 2.
2. Remove trap from the line.
3. Unscrew and remove body bolts.
4. Clean strainer and trap body. Do not disassemble the trap.
5. Replace gasket if damaged.
Use only the two corresponding parts of the same trap. If one part is
new or taken from another trap the gasket has to be replaced.
6. Apply heat-resistant lubricant to the seating surfaces of the two parts
of the trap (use for instance WINIX
7. Assemble the two trap parts. Tighten the bolts alternately to a torque
of 30 Nm in several steps.
