11. Phase to phase operation
The DRB480 is protected by an internal fuse in the Live line. When connecting the DRB480 between two phases of a
three phase system an external fuse or circuit breaker must be used in the Neutral line (N). This is to protect against
a fault between the now 'live' Neutral line and Earth. See section 12 for external protection requirements." Note:
The phase-to-phase supply must not exceed the safety approval input voltage of 100-240VAC+10% and 20A Max
branch circuit current.

12. External Fuse Rating
If required a 250Vac/10A rated fuse should be fitted externally on the input line. Surge current flows when line
turns on. Use slow-blow fuse or time-lag type fuse. Do not use fast-blow fuse. Fuse rating is specified by in-
rush current value at line turn-on. Do not select the fuse according to input current (RMS.) values under the
actual load condition.
