Battery mode: Are the batteries too
weak or incorrectly inserted? Insert
new batteries if necessary and check
the polarity.

Is the plug socket defective? Try an-
other plug socket.
Is the mains adapter defective or un-
suitable? Try another mains adapter.
Is there no mains voltage? Check the
fuse of the electrical distributor (fuse
box).
