The waste oil drain must be used only to drain new and waste lubricating oils.
The waste oil drain consists of an height-adjustable drain pan and a storage tank supported by casters.

Please read the following handbook before use.

The use of the waste oil drain for a different purpose from that of its original design can be dangerous for
the user and the environment.
•
Especially if used for corrosive or inflammable liquids.
•
Do not expose tank to heat sources or to open flames.
•
Do not perform welding on the tank.
•
Use only original parts and do not modify any component of the waste oil drain in order not to compromise
its safety.
•
Wear gloves or protective goggles when draining particularly hot waste oils since they contain noxious
substances.
For any application which is not mentioned in the handbook please contact our technical department
•
Insert handle L in its slot and secure with the screws T provided.
•
Hook the tray P to its support.
•
Screw the assembly O to the pan V with an appropriate spanner.
•
Insert the pan and the stem in the central hole of the tank and fasten the assembly with ring nut B using an
appropriate spanner (Part. B)
•
Secure the discharge hose M to the tank using the clamp A provided. (Part A)
•
Insert the grid W in the pan V.
•
Turn tap C off.
•
Check that all parts subject to wear and tear do not show any damage.
•
Check that tap C is turned off.
•
Empty tank or verify that tank residual capacity is higher than volume of liquid to be drained by checking
level H on the side of the tank.
WARNING : The level H indicates the quantity taken in.
•
Place oil drain under vehicle so that the centre of the pan coincides with oil plug.
•
Adjust height of collection tray as indicated below:
Loosen ring nut G, place tray near outlet oil plug and then tighten up ring nut G.
WARNING: During draining phase the vent holes S located at the bottom of the drain pipe
connecting the pan and the tank must be open, therefore do not fully lift the pan. Leave
approximately 4 –5 cm from the full up position.

Turn tap R on if oil must be collected directly into the tank.
•
To check liquid in the pan, close tap R, check the liquid and then open tap R again to collect liquid in the
tank.
WARNING : The liquid to be checked must not exceed the capacity of the pan V (12 litres).
WARNING: Never fill the tank above the limit indicated by the level gauge H placed on the side of the
tank .
