Robot Vacuum Cleaner
The device cannot be switched on
while it is charging.
First disconnect the charger from the
mains power and then disconnect the
barrel connector from the device.
USE
Please Note!
■
If the device is being used in a room
for the fi rst time, keep an eye on it
during vacuuming in case you need to
remove any obstacles.
■
Keep animals away from the device
while it is operating.
■
Do not cover up the sensors. Make
sure that they are always free and
clean.
Preparing the Room
•
Remove any objects lying around on
the fl oor that could get caught in the
side brushes (6) or could impede the
device during cleaning. In particular,
do not leave plastic bags lying on the
fl oor.
•
Make sure that no cables, cords, or
fringes, for example from curtains,
tablecloths or rugs, are in the path
of the device. If necessary, fold the
fringed edges of rugs under the rug.
•
Remove all objects that could be
tipped over (e.g. vases, small lamps,
decorations).
•
The distance between two objects
(e.g. wall and shelf) must be at least
29 cm so that the device can get
through.
•
The device can get stuck under furni-
ture which it can just about get under.
Block its path, for example with fl ower
pots that are heavy enough not to get
knocked over.

Inserting the Dust Container
The dust container must be emptied if
necessary and reinserted BEFORE start-
ing the device:
1. Take the cover (4) off the device.
2. Place the dust container in the device
(Picture B).
Attaching the Floor Cloth
The fl oor cloth can additionally be used
to remove dust more thoroughly. It is at-
tached to the fl oor cloth holder (10) using
the hook and loop fasteners (Picture C).
Starting the Device
1. Make sure that the device is free of
any contamination (see the "Cleaning
and Storage" chapter) and the battery
is charged up.
2. Switch on the device with the
On / Off switch (2). The robot vacuum
cleaner starts and runs through the
three vacuuming programmes one
after the other (see the "Basic Func-
tions" chapter).
3. To stop the robot vacuum cleaner,
press the
On / Off switch.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■
No liquid must get into the device.
Never immerse the device in water!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
Before and after every use, make sure that
•
the dust container has been emptied,
•
the sensors (8) are clean,
•
the suction opening (9) is not clogged,
•
the side brushes (6) are not entangled
and are free of any hair or threads,
•
no hairs, threads, or similar things are
wrapped around the wheels (7 and 13).
