Storing the vacuum cleaner
NOTICE!
A
Only store the vacuum cleaner in dry areas.
If you do not want to use the vacuum cleaner for a longer time, proceed as
follows:
➤ Empty and clean dirt canister and filter.
➤ Wind vacuum hose around casing.
➤ Store accessories below dirt canister and secure with straps.

Changing the battery

New batteries can be purchased from a specialist dealer. Ensure that the
new battery has exactly the same specifications (12 V DC, 2.6 Ah) and
dimensions as the original one.
NOTICE!
A
Before changing battery it may be necessary to disconnect power
source (fig. 1 7, page 2) from charge socket (fig. 2 8, page 2).
Protect the environment!

Do not dispose of any batteries with general household waste.
Return defective or used batteries to your retailer or dispose of
them at collection points.
Proceed as follows to change battery (see fig. 8, page 3):
➤ Open battery compartment (fig. 8 1, page 3).
➤ Remove battery mounting (fig. 8 3, page 3) and remove battery
(fig. 8 2, page 3) slowly.
➤ Carefully separate red cable (positive) and black cable (negative) from
battery connections.
➤ Connect red cable to positive pole on new battery.
➤ Connect black cable to negative pole on new battery.
➤ Place new battery (fig. 8 2, page 3) in battery compartment (fig. 8 1,
page 3) of vacuum.
