TROUBLESHOOTING

First try the solutions suggested here to possibly avoid the cost of a service call.
DISHWASHER NOT OPERATING PROPERLY
PROBLEM
Dishwasher does
not run or stops
during a cycle
The Delay option
was selected.
Child Lock is
activated.
Dishwasher will
not fill
Dishwasher
seems to run too
long
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Most cycles pause for
5 minutes near the start of a
cycle to let the dishes soak.
The door is not closed tightly
and latched.
There is no power to the
dishwasher.
The motor has stopped due to
an overload.
The water shutoff valve is not
turned on.
Certain cycles repeatedly
pause for 15 to 65 seconds
during the main wash.
The overfill protection float is
not able to move up and down
freely.
The water valve is turned off.
Door latch is not properly
seated.
The water supplied to the
dishwasher is not hot enough.
The dishwasher runs longer
while heating water, and a
delay automatically occurs in
some wash and rinse cycles
until the water reaches the
proper temperature.
The Sanitize option is
selected.
The cycle time will vary
depending on soil level.
SOLUTION
This is normal, and reduces
the energy required to clean
the dishes.
Close and latch the door.
Replace fuse or reset circuit
breaker.
The motor will automatically
reset itself within a few
minutes.
Turn the water shutoff valve
to its fully on position.
This is normal.
To reset, see "Options" in
the Controls section.
Deactivate Child Lock. See
"Options" in the Controls
section.
Press down on the float to
release.
Turn on the water valve.
Close and latch the door.
Run the water in the
adjacent sink until it gets
hot before turning on the
dishwasher.
The cycle time will increase
to meet the sanitized
temperature.
When heavy soil is
detected, the Normal cycle
will automatically increase
the cycle time.
