Preparation
Unplug the device before changing the bit and do not press the lock button while the device is
running.
Turn the drill chuck slightly and press the lock button until it engages. Open the clamping jaws
and change the bit. Make sure you insert the bit as far as it will go. Protruding drill bits will
deform easily and cause the device to vibrate.
Important remark : Always wear protective goggles and never use damaged or bent shafts or
grinding wheels.

Only use the supplied AC adapter. The adapter automatically deactivates in case of overload.
Disconnect the adapter from the mains and let it cool for a few minutes.
Use
Do not use damaged grinding wheels or shafts.
Put the ON/OFF switch (3 in fig. on p. 1) in the ON position and set the desired speed with the
speed control (2 in fig.).
The best results are not achieved by applying a lot of pressure on the device, but by using the
device at a constant speed.
Small accessories = high rpm's
Large accessories = low rpm's
Hold the device like a pen when drilling or engraving. Hold the device like a hammer for rougher
applications.
Remark : Do not cover the ventilation slots during use.
