Base station
1. Push the locking tab down slightly and remove the
battery compartment cover.
2. Insert 2 batteries of type LR6/R6 (AAA)/1.5 V as
depicted on the bottom of the battery compartment.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover until it snaps
into place.
4. Wait approx. 30 minutes. The base station requires this
time to collect all weather data and to receive radio
signals from the time signal transmitter.
Starting signal reception
Once the base station is supplied with power, the
following things will take place automatically in
succession.
All the indicators will be shown on the display for a
brief while.
The display will light up briefly and three short beeps
will sound.
The indoor temperature will be displayed.
The base station and the rain gauge are connected
wirelessly. After that, the rainfall values and the
measured outdoor temperature will appear on the
display. Radio connection can be recognised by the
symbol
. This process can take up to three minutes.
