Insert two new L1154 (AG13) button
cell batteries. Ensure that the polarity
is correct - the positive pole (+) of the
batteries must be facing the sealing
cap.

Battery instructions:
•
The
batteries
recharged, as there is a danger of
explosion.
•
Batteries should be kept of reach of
children, and not exposed to fire,
short-circuited or dismantled. If a bat-
tery is swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately.
•
Batteries should not be subjected to
extreme conditions, for example on a
heating element or in direct sunlight,
as this increases the risk of leakage.
•
Dead batteries should be removed
from the device immediately, to pre-
vent risk of leakage.
•
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and
mucous membranes. In case of contact
with battery acid, rinse the affected
areas at once with plenty of clean
water and consult a doctor immediate-
ly.
•
Clean battery and device contacts if
required before inserting.
•
Always change all batteries at the same
time. Only use batteries of the same
type – never use different battery types
or a mixture of used and new batteries
together.
•
Remove batteries from the device dur-
ing prolonged periods of non-use.
Disposal
Packaging:
The packaging materials can be recy-
cled. Please dispose of these in an envi-
ronmentally-friendly manner.
Old batteries:
Batteries should not be disposed of in
domestic waste. All consumers have a
legal obligation to properly dispose of
batteries at designated collection points
for the handling of batteries.
Device:
The device should not under any cir-
cumstances be disposed of in domestic
waste at the end of its service life. Ask
your municipal administration or local
disposal centre about environmentally-
friendly disposal methods.
