If a claim is submitted under warranty, Latchways will either repair, replace or refund the ManSafe SRL at Latchways’ discretion. Warranty benefits are in addition to any statutory rights provided under local consumer legislation.
  • Page 5 It is essential for the safety of the User that if the ManSafe SRL is resold outside the original country of destination, the reseller shall provide instructions for use, maintenance, periodic examination and repair in the language of the country in which the device will be used.
  • Page 6 Product limitations: The ManSafe SRL shall only be used within it’s limitations and for the purpose for which it is intended. No attempt shall be made to modify or repair the equipment. All instructions shall be followed to ensure the safety of the User.
  • Page 7 To ensure positive locking of the ManSafe SRL a clear, unobstructed fall path is necessary. Do not use the ManSafe SRL when working on materials such as sand or grain, as insufficient fall speed may prevent lock in the event of a fall. It is essential to verify the free space required beneath the User before each use, so that, in the event of a fall there will be no collision with the ground or other obstacle.
  • Page 10 If the ManSafe SRL is positioned high above the Users head, the use of a tag line is acceptable to allow the ManSafe SRL to fully retract and yet enable retrieval of the connector. It is recommended for tag lines to be removed from the device before use.
