You can use the connecting cable for the nurse call system to connect the
VENTIlogic LS and VENTIlogic plus therapy devices to a nurse call system in a
hospital. Proceed as follows to do so:
Warning!
High voltages can cause electric shocks and damage the therapy
device. Ensure that there are no voltages > 60 V DC or > 42 V AC
at the connecting cable for the nurse call system.
Note:
The remote alarm connection of the therapy device is electrically
isolated by a relay inside the device.

brown + white
brown + green
If you find faults during the function check, you may not use the connecting
cable for the nurse call system.

Connect the bayonet plug of the con-
necting cable for the nurse call system
to the remote alarm connection of the
therapy device.
2.
Connect the three free wires to your
nurse call system as desired (see table
below).
3.
Perform a function check after connec-
ting the connecting cable for the nurse
call system:
Contact closed when
– no power supply
– alarm on therapy device
– power supply present
– no alarm on therapy device
