Bluetooth wireless technology allows

wireless connections with compatible de-
vices. For Bluetooth
necessary that there is a visual contact
between the SOUND WAVE and the other
device. However, the maximum distance
between the devices should not exceed
10 meters. connection may be impaired
by interferences due to obstructions, such
as walls or other electronic devices.
COUPLING AND CONNECTING
The steps described below relate to the
connection of a mobile phone, are how-
ever identical with the connection of a PC
or similar devices.
1. Activate the Bluetooth
phone and start search for Bluetooth
devices.
2. Select Sound Wave in the list of found
devices (KALDEWEI- _ _ _ _ _ _ ).
3. For coupling and making the connec-
tion between the SOUND WAVE and
phone, input the Bluetooth
(you will find the pass code on the
housing of the control unit).
On one of the structure-borne sound
converters, there is a sticker show-
ing the device name and pass code.
Paste sticker in this these installa-
tion instructions (page 24) or note
down the data of the housing of the
control unit.

Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP) 1.0
and Audio/Video Remote Control (AVRCP)

Please ask the manufacturers of other
devices about their compatibility with this
device.
4. After the connection between the
SOUND WAVE and phone has been
made playback can be started. The
volume is controlled via the phone.
5. Next time, the phone is automatically
connected (without interrogation of the

pass code) with the SOUND WAVE as
soon as the Bluetooth
range has been activated. If necessary,
the Sound WAVE is still to be selected.
6. Up to eight devices can be stored in
the pairing mode. If a device is added,
the first paired device is overwritten.
7. After disconnecting the connection or
when the playback device is outside
the range of the SOUND WAVE the
module is again switched into the
standby mode after about 5-10 sec.
