When using the blender, please note
that the appliance is designed for short-
term operation only, i.e., the unit must
not be operated for more than 3 minutes
at a time. Switch off the appliance
afterwards and allow sufficient time for
it to cool down before resuming
operation.
General care and cleaning
●
Turn off the appliance after use, remove
the plug from the wall socket and wait
until the motor has come to a complete
standstill.
●
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do
not clean the housing with water and do
not immerse it in water.
- The housing may be wiped with a
slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- Attachment parts should be thoroughly
cleaned immediately after processing,
using hot water and a mild detergent.
- A suitable spatula may be used to
remove food residue from the bowl.
●
Do not put the attachments in a dish
washer. Do not use abrasives or harsh
cleaning solutions. When cleaning the
chopping blade and slicing or shredding
inserts, beware of sharp edges and
blades - these can be extremely
dangerous.
- If necessary, the blade may be removed
for cleaning. Use a suitably thick piece
of cloth to hold the blade in position
and remove the drive shaft coupling
from underneath the blender jug by
turning it in a clockwise direction until it
can be taken off. Caution: the blade is
extremely sharp. The blade may be
cleaned with a suitable brush. To re-
assemble, first place the sealing disc
onto the blade shaft from below with its
flat side first, then fit the blade into the
blender jar and onto the shaft. Finally,
engage the coupling by turning it anti-
clockwise hand-tight.
Disposal
Do not dispose of old or defective
appliances in domestic garbage; this
should only be done through public
