Valve malfunction
Do not throw the device away with normal household waste. Dispose of the device via an
approved waste disposal company or via your local authority waste disposal facility.
Observe the currently valid regulations. In case of doubt, contact your waste disposal
facility. Dispose of all packaging in an environmentally sound manner.
Troubleshooting
Possible cause
No dynamic pressure.
Insufficient water inlet
pressure.
Foot valve clogged or meter-
ing medium dried out.
Measuring probe clogged
by dried metering medium.
Mineral deposits at the
nozzle.
Surface of the chemical
metering medium is higher
than the lower end of the
outlet hose.
Push-button malfunction
Disposal
Remedy
Pinch the outlet hose together. A dynamic pres-
sure is built up and a medium intake process is
initiated. The foot valve then ensures a continuous
intake through the inlet hose.
Set the minimum pressure (2.0 bar).
Wash the foot valve in a hot water bath.
Remove the measuring probe and inject hot
water. If there is still no intake, remove the mixing
controller and place in a hot water bath for
internal cleaning.
Remove all parts installed on the mixing
controller. Then clean the mixing controller in a
descaling bath.
After use, store the container with the liquid to
be drawn in lower, or hang up the outlet hose
higher.
Check whether the push-button can be moved
up and down easily and whether a clicking
noise is heard when the push-button is pressed /
released.
Remove the cover for inspection of the internal
parts and unscrew the solenoid housing. Pull off
the sheathing carefully so that the plunger cannot
fall out. Remove the spring and spacer. Check
whether soiling or damage is impairing the
function of the plunger. Trip a spring movement.
Inspect the diaphragm and ensure that the two
small holes (venting holes) in the diaphragm
pleat are free and enable closing of the valve.
