Close the valve of
the pump.
Pump until the rupture
of the steel sheets.
Beware : make sure no
parts of human body or
objects lie in the vicinity
of the traction bench
when pulling.
When pulling, the needles
indicate the traction force. After
rupture, the red needle remains
at the maximum force.
e.g. : 3900Kg for HSS sheets
thickness 2.5mm
Result of the
pulling test
Unscrew the 4 screws of
the clamps. A new
pulling test can be
performed.
Set the maximum needle
to zero using the thumb
wheel on the dial.
Unscrew the valve of
the pump; the traction
bench will come back to
its initial position.
