1. Safety measures
Before starting the pump, read this instruction booklet carefully.
For safety reasons, the pump must not be used by anyone who has not read these instructions.
The pump must not be used by anyone under 16 years of age; keep children well away from the
pump when in operation.
Do not carry or move the pump by its power cord. Always use the handle.
Avoid all contact with water while the pump is connected to the mains power supply.
Never remove the plug by pulling on the power cord.
Before taking any action on the pump, always remove the plug from the power
socket.
2. Use
Versatile and compact self-priming Jet Pumps; designed for residential use such as watering
gardens, vegetable gardens or other green areas and as a water supply.
3. Safety measures. Important – Read carefully
The user is fully responsible towards third parties for claims deriving from the use of the pump
(electricity and water connections, etc.) in compliance with local safety and installation bylaws. Before
start-up, the presence of the relative safety measures must be checked by a skilled electrician. When

power cord may only be replaced with a HO7RN-F or similar cord. Do not lift, carry or fix the pump from
its power cord.
Before using, make sure the power cord and plug are undamaged. This pump is an electric apparatus
and, as such, must be protected from humidity. Make sure the mains power supply connections cannot
be affected by flooding, do not spray water directly onto the pump, and do not submerge the pump in
water.
If the pump should develop a fault, repairs may only be made by authorised workshops and only original
spare parts must be used.
Please note that we accept no liability for damage deriving from:
a) inappropriate repairs made by unauthorised service centres
b) the use of unoriginal spare parts
The same applies to accessories.
4. Operating methods
To install the pump correctly, proceed as follows:
a) The diameter of the suction and delivery hoses should be greater than or equal to the diameter of
the pump connections (25 mm).
Do not screw metal unions onto the pump threading.
b) Fit the suction hose complete with foot valve, taking care to eliminate any counter-slopes, siphons,
goosenecks or diameter reductions.
c) Connect the delivery hose.
