If not all the outlets of the valve are necessary, never cover any of the outlets as the valve will stop working. In these
cases, join 2 or more outlets to feed one branch installing them alternatively, never adjacent. It is recommended to
install them as indicated in Fig. 2.
If the installation requires more than 6 outlets, several valves can be combined in parallel at the outlet of the pump,
ensuring that the minimum required flow of 10m3/h reaches each valve (Fig. 3).
The total surface area of the nozzle outlet of each branch should be similar to maintain the pressure and flow in the
different branches.
It is advisable to place the configuration S1 of the nozzle on the upper step of the ladder to avoid splashing (Fig. 4).
Choosing the pump
For optimum operation of the system, it is important to correctly configure the nozzles and install the correct pump.
To choose a pump, you need to know the flow required for each nozzle and pressure drops of the installation.
The following table shows the optimum flows for each nozzle outlet configuration to ensure the system works
properly. For further details see the action radius graph in Fig. 5.

Once you know the flow required, you must find out the pressure drop. The pressure drop of the nozzles and
distributor valve can be found in figures 6 and 7.
These 2 parameters, required flow and pressure, are sufficient to search for the correct pump in a graph or table.
The final result should meet the working specifications of the valve indicated in the following table.

For general use, in 2-nozzle branches, place outlet S4 with a total flow of 10m
outlet S4 with a total flow of 15m3/h.
