INSTALLATION MANUAL
STAR1M - Standalone Access control system / 13,56 MHz Mifare
30-bit Wiegand Output
Hexadecimal 30 bit format. Communication uses a Wiegand 30 bit type signal
(signals: DATA1, DATA0). The frame is composed of a total of 30 bits split
up as follows:
1. First parity: 1 bit - parity for the first 14 bits.
Badge code: 7 half byte representing the card code
Each word is sent with the most significant bit first.
2. Second parity: 1 bit - odd parity for the last 12 bits
Bit 1
Even parity on bit 2 to bit 15
For example: for a card with hexadecimal code 00166A37
0
0000
Parity 1
0
The transmitted hexadecimal code is 0166A37
Parity 1:
0 if the number of '1's in bits 2 to 15 is even,
1 if the number of '1's from bit 2 to 15 is odd.
Parity 2:
0 if the number of '1's in bits 16 to 29 is odd,
1 if the number of '1's from bit 16 to 29 is even.
44-bit Wiegand format Output
Hexadecimal 44 bit format. Communication uses a Wiegand 44 bit type signal (si-
gnals: DATA1, DATA0). The frame is composed of a total of 44 bits split up as follows:
Data:
10 hexadecimal digits (most significant byte first).
Each hexadecimal digit = 4 bits (most significant bit first)
LRC:
4 bits = OR restricted in between the digit of the date, MSBit first
Bit 1 à bit 40

For example: for a card with hexadecimal code 001950C3
0000
0000
0000
0
0
0
The transmitted hexadecimal code is 00001950C3
