The functions of the pads from left to right:
Pad M/A:
On/Off
Pad (+) and (-) :
These 2 pads allow you to adjust the level of power of the hob
between 1 and 9 for 240302 or between 1 and 15 for the orthers.
Pad (+) and (-) :
These 2 pads allow you to adjust the timer between 1 and 99 minutes
for 240306, 240315 and 240322.
Pots and pans:
Your induction hob appliance is capable of recognising most containers.
Container test:
Place your container on the hob with the level of power set to position 5: if
the indicator remains fixed your container is compatible; if it flashes, your
container is not recognised and cannot be used.
You can also use a magnet if it is fixed to the bottom of the container; this is
compatible with induction technology.
The containers compatible with induction are:
•
Containers in enamelled steel with or without an anti-stick coating.
•
Containers in cast iron with or without an enamelled base. An ena-
melled base avoids scratching the glass top of your appliance.
•
Containers in stainless steel adapted to induction.
•
Containers in aluminium with a special base: The containers whose
base is not perfectly flat can work insofar as the base is not too deformed.
•
Containers in glass, ceramic, earthenware, aluminium (without a spe-
cial base), copper and certain non-magnetic stainless steels are incompatible
with cooking by induction. The level of power indicator chosen will flash to
let you know.
•
Choose items with a thick, flat base, which guarantee more even
cooking (the heat is better distributed)
•
Containers in plastic must not be placed on hot surfaces.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
From the function pads on the front of the plate, you control the power sup-
ply that creates a magnetic field. This field induces currents in the base of
the container placed on the plate.
These currents known as "induced" instantly heat the container that trans-
fers its heat to the food it contains.
How does your induction plate work?
Your induction plate works mainly thanks to the magnetic properties of most
of the containers used on ordinary hobs. This appliance corresponds to the
standard EN 60335-2-36 corresponding to the safety of household appliances
and similar (hob and electric boiling plates for collective use).
