1. Consistent low temperature readings
• Perhaps the lens is not positioned properly. Ensure the device is
being used correctly.
(see page 24 "Measuring Temperature")
• The Measurement Sensor or Lens may be dirty and require clean
ing. Clean the lens with a piece of soft, alcohol-moistened cotton
cloth thoroughly.

• Please be aware that the device may register lower readings
when the object or patient's forehead is damp, wet or perspiring.
2. The device can not operate
• When battery power is too low, the device will not operate pro-
perly. Replace the batteries as appropriate.
