ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

WARNING: this appliance must be earthed
Only plug the appliance onto a 230-volt alternating
current power supply (respect the indications on the
identification plate) and to an electrical installation
which complies with the relevant standards.
Before plugging the appliance into the mains
socket, check that:
• The mains power supply corresponds to the value
indicated on the rating plate on the back of the
appliance.
• The power socket and electrical circuit are
adequate for the appliance.
• The mains socket matches the plug. If this is not
the case, have the plug replaced.
• The mains socket is adequately earthed. Failure
to follow these important safety instructions
absolves the manufacturer of all liability.
• DO NOT use the heater where gas, petrol, paint or
other inflammable goods are stored.
• DO NOT use the heater in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming
pool.
• DO NOT place the heater directly below a fixed
socket outlet.
• IMPORTANT: If the mains lead of this appliance is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its service agent or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid a hazard.
• DO NOT place the unit close to curtains and/or
other flammable objects as a risk of fire exists.
