Installing the spacers on a new machine
Note: The spacers may only be used with washing machines and tumble dryers manufactured by Asko Appliances.
Instruction
1. Place the spacers on the washing machine. Make sure
that the edges of the spacers are lined up accurately
with the edge of the washing machine panel.
2. Remove the anti-tilt device from the tumble dryer. This
is no longer needed.
3. In case of dryers with metal feet, attach each of the
two brackets (left and right) with two bolts (enclosed)
to prevent the dryer from tipping over.
4A. Screw out the feet of the tumble dryer by three turns
from their fully screwed-in position.
4B. In case of dryers with metal feet, screw out the feet of
the tumble dryer five turns from their fully screwed-in
position.
Then lift up the tumble dryer. Put the back feet of the
tumble dryer in the "keyholes" in the spacer and slide
the tumble dryer backwards. Lower the front feet into
the holes.
5A. Remove the two outer screws on the back of the
washing machine so that you the anti-tilt device can be
fitted.
5B. In the case of dryers with metal feet remove the middle
screws on the back of the washing machine so that the
anti-tilt device can be fitted.
