Never dip the device into water
or other liquids. If it has been
immersed in water, do not remove
the device with your hands.
Immediately remove the plug
from the socket. If the device has
been immersed in water or other
liquids, it must not be used any
longer.

Never remove the plug from the
socket with wet hands.

Keep the device away of heat
sources. Do not place the device
onto hot su aces or near open
fire.

Be aware of hot pa s! Wait until
the device has cooled down
before touching it with your
hands. The su ace gets hot during
use and may contain increased
residual heat due to the hot
cookware even if the device is
already switched off .

Do not cover the device.
•
Only place the device onto even,
heat-resistant su aces (NOT
onto fabric or non-heatproof
materials). The clearance around
the device must be at least 10 cm
and the air circulation must be
unaff ected.
•
Make sure to leave enough
space between the device and
objects which are sensitive to
electromagnetic fields (e.g. radios,
TVs, etc.).
•
Do not move the device as long as
cookware is placed on top of it.
•
Pots and pans must not be over-
heated or heated up empty. There
must never be paper between the
cookware and the cooking plate
because it could ignite.
•
Do not use the cooking plate as a
storage space for metal objects
such as knives, forks, cans or
aluminum foil.
•
Should the su ace be damaged,
immediately switch off the device
and have it repaired by a qualified
technician.
