6.3 Environmental protection

- Dispose of soiled maintenance material and operating
materials at the appropriate collection point.
- Recycle packaging material, metal and plastics.
7. Operation.
7.1 Before starting the generator.
- You must fill up with engine oil and fuel before you can
start the engine.
- Check the fuel level and top it up if necessary.
- Make sure that the generator has sufficient ventilation.
- Make sure that the ignition cable is secured to the
spark plug.
- Inspect the immediate vicinity of the generator.
- Disconnect any electrical equipment which may already
been connected to the generator.
- Permissible ambient temperature -10 to 40°C, max.
altitude above sea level 1000 m.
- Never use the generator in closed and dusty area.

7.2 Starting the engine

- Turn the ECS switch(8) to "OFF"
- Totally turn the air vent knob (1) to the "ON" position
clockwise.
Note: when transporting the engine, you should turn the
air vent knob (1) of the fuel cap to the "OFF" position.
-Turn the fuel cock knob to "ON"
- Turn the Engine switch(11) of the engine to the "ON"
position
- Pull the chock knob (19)fully out.
Note: The chock is not required to start a warm engine.
- Pull slowly on the recoil starter until it is engaged, then
pull it briskly
Important!
When starting with the pull cord, the motor may recoil
suddenly as it starts up, resulting in hand injuries. Wear
protective gloves when starting the equipment.

7.3 Connecting equipment to the generator
Note:
1. Be sure any electric devices are turned off before
plugging them in.
2. All electric devices are in good condition.
3. Be sure the total load is within generator rated output.
- Turn the ECS switch(8) to "ON"
Note:
1. When the ECS switch is turned to"ON", the economy
control unit controls the engine speed according to the
connected load. The results are better fuel consumption
and less noise.
2. When the ECS switch is turned to"OFF", the engine
runs at the rated speed regardless of whether is a load
connected or not.
3. The ECS switch must be turned to"OFF" when using
electric devices that require a large starting current,
such as a compressor of a submergible pump.
- Connect the equipment you want to use to the socket
outlets (3/4)
Important!
- Never connect the generator to the domestic power
network as this may result in damage to the generator
itself or to other electrical appliances in your home.
- Switch off the machine immediately and contact your
service station:
- If the generator is making unusual vibrations or noise.
If the engine is overloaded within rated load range or
misfires.
Note: Some electrical appliances (power jigsaws, drills,
etc.) may have a higher level of power consumption
when used in difficult conditions or starting.
- Use the supplied DC connecting cable to make
connection to 12VDC powered appliance. (B18)
