booklet for later use. Check the instruction booklet carefully.
SAFETY REGULATIONS
First check if the voltage indicated on the appliance is the same as your household
current.
Place the appliance near a socket, but make sure it is not to close to a water source.
The working area needs to be heat-resistant, dry and about 75 cm high.
Since the side of the appliance becomes hot, you need to keep a free space of at least 5
cm around the unit.
Make sure the power cord doesn't come in contact with any hot surfaces. Keep the
cord away from children.
Make sure the appliance is placed not to close to the edge of the work space and is
kept out of reach of children or persons that are sensitive to heat.
This appliance may not be place under a cupboard.
Don't move the hot plate when it is still hot or when there are pots on the plate.
Make sure that the pots are placed centrale on the hot plate and that the handles of
pans are positioned safely.
Be very careful when using grease or oil during cooking.
To prevent overheating, you always need to supervise during use.
When you stop cooking turn the thermostat off.
Remove the plug from the socket.
Don't every leave the appliance unattended when there are children nearby.
Don't place the hot plate near flammable materials, such as curtains, to prevent fire.
This appliance is only for household use or environments of a similar character such
as :
- kitchens that are used by personnel of shops, office or other similar professional
environments.
- Farms
- Hotel rooms and motel rooms and other similar environments with a residential
character.
- Bed and breakfast or similar.
Attention : this appliance may not be used with an external timer or seperate remote
control.
This devise is not for use by persons, including children, with any kind of impairment,
such as, physical, sensorial or mental incapacity. These persons are also not permitted
to use the devise if they have limited experience or insufficient knowledge, unless they
have received the necessary instructions for use or are otherwise being supervised by
people ensuring their safety.
Make sure that children cannot play with the devise.
